Computer keyboard: an important element
A computer keyboard is an important part of the computer without which the computer will not function. We will not be able to type anything without a keyboard. It is an input device with which we can write things on the computer. Initially it was the typewriter and now with a few modifications it is the keyboard that fills up the utility of the typewriter. With the help of the keyboard we can not only produce letters or numbers but with a few keys we can also produce computer commands. For instance when we press ALT – DEL – CTRL all at once we can shut down the system.
When we buy a keyboard we will get software as well in order to install the keyboard. It is a very simple process and once done with it we can easily use the keyboard. There are choices of keyboards we can choose from. The most common one is where we need to plug in the keyboard to the computer. Then we have a laser keyboard which runs on a battery. We can easily keep it anywhere and type as long as the laser beams are in wavelength to the computer.
We can use keyboards for playing games too. With the help of the arrow keys on the keyboard we can easily play games. A laptop keyboard is different from a full size keyboard. There are many keys missing in the laptop and with the help of other keys we can use them. Without computer keyboards we will not be able to function.
