Nokia 2760 — A Simple and Basic Phone

The Nokia 2760 handset comes in a cheap plastic body. It is available in a combination of three colours which include silver and navy blue. The phone has easy-to-use features with a well-built VGA camera, which is monochrome and has limited uses. The camera zoom is only 4X and does not contain any good editing features.

Despite the fact that it supports 65,536 colors (160×128 pixels) and has a decent size (1.8 inches), it is too bright and therefore unattractive. Another drawback amongst its features is that its volume cannot be adjusted while one is talking, as it has no external controls. Therefore, volume can only be adjusted when the user removes the phone from the ear..

Nokia 2760’s stores contacts with up to five phone numbers, a name, and designation of the person, email, birthday and even a URL along with some remarks and a photo. It has up to 11 MB of memory that can be accessed by the user. However, it depends on the number of contacts and messages saved by the user.

The usual features like the vibrate mode, an alarm clock, a calculator, a calendar, a currency converter are all available. Nokia 2760 comes with a Bluetooth and PC compatibility, instant messaging and POP4 support. Its 2.5mm headset jack and charger port are both covered by a rubber flap.

Overall, the phone’s menus are quite lethargic and its battery life too is very small - just 3 hours which is very inconvenient for a modern day user.
